Erin Stoneburner contacted injury lawyer Rob Kline and Kline Offices following her involvement in an automobile accident. Erin was asleep in the passenger seat when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.

As a result of the accident, Erin’s back was broken in five places, which ultimately required a permanent spinal fusion. She also experienced serious damage to surrounding soft tissues. These injuries are permanent and are a source of chronic pain and physical limitations.

The accident had a profound effect on Erin’s life and career goals. Because of constant back pain, she was forced to scale back her coursework at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she was studying acupuncture. Chronic pain also prevented Erin from enjoying many activities: yoga, gardening, dancing, walking, backpacking, bicycling and skiing.

Rob Kline litigated the case in Multnomah County, eventually securing a favorable settlement for his client.

Rob is great, really thorough, very professional, and very kind. He was patient about explaining the details, all the technicalities that went into my case. He did a lot of research, was aware of the case law and how it could affect me.

Although the accident happened in California, I lived in Oregon the whole time. Rob worked hard to get the case heard here, and that meant a lot to me, it made an already difficult situation easier.

He didn’t talk in jargon, he made sure I actually understood what was going on so that I could make informed decisions. He was respectful of me, too, he made sure I had the time to think things through, he didn’t pressure me to make complex decisions.

I didn’t have health insurance, so Rob negotiated with all my medical providers to get my bills reduced. He used to be an insurance lawyer, so he knew how to get that done. I really appreciated it!

I feel like he is a good man and I trusted him completely with this process.
